Mala Remeta Monastery is located in the southern central part of Fruška Gora, near the village of the same name. The church is dedicated to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. Tradition attributes its founding to King Dragutin. A record from 1844 claims the monastery was 601 years old at the time, suggesting it was founded around 1243.
