Located in the peaceful surroundings of Velebit National Park, along the Krupa River, Krupa Monastery is one of the oldest and most important Orthodox monasteries in Croatia. Krupa is one of the three historic Serbian Orthodox monasteries in Dalmatia, alongside Dragović and Krka Monasteries. Founded in 1317, the monastery is rich in spiritual and cultural heritage, with a history that includes the work and residence of significant cultural and religious figures, such as Dositej Obradović.
